Introducing OPB's new Volunteer Coordinator!

Welcome Chad Rabago!

Please join me in welcoming Chad Rabago, OPB’s new Volunteer Coordinator. 

Chad will work closely with Joy Hawkins and Jenn Forristal to coordinate OPB/KMHD’s hundreds of volunteers who moderate social media, make content more accessible through transcription, provide administrative support, engage with the public during membership drives, thank a member weeks, and events… and more! 

Chad recently relocated to Portland from Washington, DC, where he worked in volunteer management, community engagement, and visitor services for arts and cultural organizations including the Smithsonian Institution, Kennedy Center, and KID Museum. He holds a Bachelor’s in Education from Chapman University and a Master’s in Arts Administration from Teachers College Columbia University. Outside of work, he was involved in the performing arts scene in DC as a performer, musician, and designer, and is looking forward to settling into the Pacific Northwest and exploring the many arts scenes here!
